Vinyl floor covering has come a long way from the boring, yellowed square tiles in the hallways in elementary school. Say goodbye to the old vinyl and the toils that come with the upkeep. Today, vinyl is even more durable, easy to clean, and just plain look better.
The new style of vinyl floors can mimic the look of tile, stone, and even wood. There are three main types of vinyl flooring available at Satolli Carpet & Floor Coverings: Sheet Vinyl, Solid Vinyl Tile, and Luxury Vinyl Tile.
Sheet Vinyl arrives at the store in a 6-foot to 12-foot roll, ready to cut to the size you need. This type of vinyl can be laid over existing vinyl floors in addition to subfloors and concrete So whether you are looking to put vinyl in your mudroom for easy clean-up or you want to do a quick update to your bathroom, sheet vinyl may be the best option for you!
Solid Vinyl Tile
Solid Vinyl Tile produces the same look that ceramic tile does, but is more cost effective. While you shouldn’t install SVT over existing SVT, it can be installed over the old flooring. Adding SVT to your kitchen or bathroom makes for a softer floor, with the same designs as tile.
Luxury Vinyl Tile
Luxury Vinyl Tile is the sophisticated older sister of the solid vinyl tile. This flooring cover is overlaid with the texture of wood and natural stone using 3D imaging software. The final product is several layers of thick, ultra durable, and cost-effective.
