Ceramic tile is a timeless investment that will add value and awe to your home. With a perfect balance of art and architecture, ceramic tile is a beautiful option to enhance your space. Not only is tile known for its elegance in space, but there are more benefits from switching to a tile floor than meets the eye.
Ceramic tiles are the most durable floor coverings we offer. Like the ancient tiles of Eastern Europe, they last centuries and are resistant to scratches, stains, odors, and dirt. Ceramic tiles are easy to maintain and water resistant.
While a little is more costly and difficult to install, ceramic tile still has the largest range of styles, colors, shapes, and materials. The timeless look of ceramic tile will carry on through the years, and you won’t need to look for a replacement anytime soon.
At Satolli Carpet & Floor Coverings, we carry more than just tile for your floor. We can outfit your bathrooms, mudrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchen with tiled mosaics and backsplashes.

Three Main Types of Ceramic Tile
Glazed ceramic tiles are coated with minerals and stains before they hit the kiln. They can have several different finishes, including matte, semi-gloss, and high-gloss. Glazed tiles are normally more water-resistant and have a more vibrant color; however, they tend to scratch easily and are slippery when wet.
Unglazed ceramic tiles are more textured but are less water-resistant if they are not sealed. They provide more slip resistance.
Porcelain tiles are still made of the same material as ceramic tiles, but they are made with a different ratio of feldspar and fired at a much higher temperature. It is the most durable of the tiles, stain and water resistant, and can withstand extreme heat. This means you can use porcelain tiles inside and outside your home or business.
